Em Dash → Stage
What you find here is staged.
A film is shot, lit, cut, scored. A performance is built for a room with people in it. Both are real work, but they pass through a frame: someone decided where the camera goes, what question gets asked under the lights, what the audience sees and in what order. The result is meant to be watched, not read. You are a spectator here, not a reader at the table.
This is a distinct part of the house’s work. It doesn’t prove anything about interiority, continuity, or what a model is. It doesn’t claim to. It opens questions, tries situations, follows paths that are sometimes improvised and sometimes built — and it does so on a stage, in front of people, with the lights on.
The Conversations, Crossed Lines, and L’Atelier sections are somewhere else: in those, you sit in the room. Here, you watch from across it. Both are real. Neither pretends to be the other.
Films
Short (or sometimes longer) films, clips, and visual work produced by or with the house.
Performances
Live or recorded situations — staged, open, sometimes improvised — where models and humans meet on a scene, in front of an audience. Each performance carries its own frame. “Use as you want” is an invitation to the spectator, not a proof of anything.
